Amilo L7300

With a nice large screen (I was surprised to realise it was actually larger than my 17" desktop VDU) there were no viewing problems msking the Amilo very pleasant to use but sadly a bit impractical on the daily commute since it was a bit bulky.

Like the A20m this was on the heavy side.

The primary reason for selling this was my need for advanced standards compliant graphics, the onboard graphics were more than adequate for day-to-day Windows use, but inadequate for graphics development and even mid-range games.

Within 6 months or so of selling it to my mother the screen failed (I'm guessing the inverter).

Battery life

Similar to the IBM and with similar recharge problems, although not as awful as the IBM.

Conclusion

Pleasant enough in daily use, the only real bug bear being its bulkiness.
