Hi,
laptops are great, over the years I've owned one or two, and generally enjoyed their convenience... until something has gone wrong. At which point it becomes a royal pain trying to find resources to help.

My intention here is to recount my experiences to help other users to decide whether a particular model is right for you, to sort out their problems or at least point you in the direction of someone who can help.
